Torque on a Dipole in a Uniform Electric Field

Let an Electric Dipole ‘AB’ having charge -q and +q separated at a distance 2a is placed in a uniform electric field  such that it is making angle  with it, then both charges experience a force(). The forces on both charges are equal, parallel and opposite so they form a force couple and this force couple will produce a torque on the dipole.
